We all know the challenges of maintaining any sense of individuality in a life filled with career, house, family and friends. Add to that the omnipresent emasculating paraphernalia scattered and strategically placed about the house that comes with being the father of only girls, maintaining even a smidgeon of “coolness” could be an insurmountable task for man of less wisdom (I could have just said, “younger”). In an effort to maintain some sense of balance that includes an adequate degree of masculinity, I have found the following three points to be key in my ability to remain a, “Cool Old Guy”.
