Next to a Lifetime Membership to CoolOldGuys.org, some of the coolest things for the Cool Old Guy (COG) on your list are listed herein. Please keep in mind, we only think they are cool. Said to be the world’s hottest hot pepper sauce, this baby is made with the Bhut Jolokia pepper which is claimed to be 200 times hotter than a Jalapeno. This stuff is likely to work that Cool Old Guy on your list into a sweat for a cool $10.95.
Cool Finger Tips
These gloves are just the right thing for the Cool Old Guy who wants to keep his hands warm and dry while using mobile phones, portable games systems, music players and other electronic devices. How many boxes of vinyl records does your Cool Old Guy have stashed away in the basement or attic? Even COGs need to clean up sometimes. So why shouldn’t he look cool while he’s doing it

“Micro Biography”
For the Cool Old Guy that Twitters, he needs to follow us @IMACOG and check this out. Ken Hudak, the proprietor of 140bio.com tells me he offers what he calls a “microbiography” service that allows Twitter users to have their Twitter stream published as a publisher-grade paperback book. The paperbacks consist of the user’s most recent 3200 tweets. Although I don’t have 3200 Tweets, and most of them aren’t worth re-printing, I can see where this could be a very cool idea.
